The Weed & Seed Program along with Trumbull County Youth Build are continuing the Board Up campaign in the City of Warren.  The next scheduled Board up will be held on Friday, March 23rd starting at 9am.  Volunteers are asked to meet at the Weed & Seed office by 8.45am.  Coffee and donuts will be provided.

The Weed & Seed Program along with the Warren Police Department is offering Citizen's Police Awareness Academy Training.  The CPAAT classes are for 7 consecutive Thursdays and are designed to give residents an inside look into how the police department functions and an idea of "a day in the life of an officer".  Part of the training includes: a police ride along, F.A.T.S. training (shoot or not to shoot scenarios), and a review of the 9-1-1 Call Center.  Warren residents can pick up an application at the Warren Police Station, Mon-Fri from 9am to 4pm or the Warren Weed & Seed office.  Youth can participate with parental consent, but they must be over 15 yrs old.

The Weed & Seed Program along with Warren Police Department is offering a Safety Initiative Training for residents of the City of Warren.  This is a once a month, 2 hour training designed to teach residents how to start neighborhood watch groups, do's and don'ts of a neighborhood watch group, how to report accurate information to the police, etc.  Applications for this monthly training can be picked up at the Warren Police Station, Mon- Fri from 9am to 4pm or the Warren Weed & Seed Office.
